How has it been with out posts from me lately? I can tell you it's been a tad different on my end by not sharing the nuggets I learn every day. I've missed it terribly.
John C. Maxwell says -"You have not fully learned something until you've given it away."
I love giving away what I learn. I've learned a lot lately and I'm going to give something away to you right now...
I'm back after my travels. I've missed being in a rhythm and I realize now how important staying in a rhythm can be to my business.
What's rhythm in your business? It's a tempo of your activity and thought that is congruent with that of being a winner and a leader. There are a few things that you can do to find your rythem:
*Good habits + Rhythm = Desirable results. So identify good habits right up front
*Do what you know needs to be done, even in the moment when you don't want to do it. Then do it consistantly.
*Lead by example and set the tempo for your team. Why wait for someone to direct you?
*Follow your heart and live with passion in the moment while knowing what you want your end result to be
*Apply your passion to your lifes work and follow it's path with a trusting intuition
*Love yourself, even the parts you percieve as faults. Faults are only lessons that haven't been learned yet.
There are things that can rob you of your rhythm like:
*Taking on too many projects at once
*Buying the opinions of others once you DO settle on a project or task
*Not having clarity of your desired end result
*Living with out integrity
*Not forgiving yourself of past behaviors and actions
These rob you of a solid foundation to launch your well meant intentions from. With out a solid foundation to start from your intentions get blown to the wind after a matter of Months, Weeks, Days or even worse...Hours.
Once you find a rhythm of working your business it's hard for anyone to get you out of it. Usually it's only you that can take you off task. That's why it's important to become a Master of Distractions. Thats much easier to do when you're clear on your end result. (Or have a work out partner to hold you accountable)
Rhythm is like momentum. It's a lot of work at times to get however once you get it going it's hard to stop. Finding your rhythm is up to you though and you alone. A rhythm of proper activities and thought can lead you and your team to where ever you wish to go.
The only question to answer now is where do you wish to go at this point?
