    Tracking & Measuring What's Not Real In Your Business

    2006 Gewurztraminer Fermentation Chart  I have to take you someplace for a moment for you to really absorb what I'm going to share with you today. You may not like it, but I think you will appreciate it when I'm done.

    Ask yourself, what is real? Do you really know the answer to that question?  Do you think because something has tangibility that it's real?

    Consider this for a moment. Is the computer you're reading this on real?  You may think so because you can touch it and feel it.

    What are you? Is your mind real? Can you see it or touch it?  But you know it exists correct?

    But isn't that you? Don't you have to say that your mind is what you are, because if you take your character, skills and personality away what do you have? A lump of human goo right?

    So if you acknowledge that what is going on in your life right now is real, how can that be true when what is making that observation has no form (your mind) and is creating the reality in which you live?

    .....ponder that for a moment.

     

    Ok, now lets bring it back down to earth shall we? Whew, ok that was maybe scary right for some of you right? I'll mention why I took you there in a minute.

    You also may be  asking yourself, "I thought Tony said he was going to talk about measuring and tracking our businesses and cash flow in his last post?"

    Well that's a good question and yes I am. But not in a way that you may think.

    You see very few people track their businesses activities in network marketing. I've found that many of the top people do and they are on top because they track their activity along with their teams activity.

    Not to mention they teach their up and coming leaders to track their activity and business.

    But I want to get to the root of why you aren't tracking your business building activities.  (And if you are I welcome your feed back on this post)

    1. You don't realize you should be in the first place and because your sponsor never coached you to because they don't.
    2. You know you should be but you don't discipline yourself to because you don't see the pay off long or short term.
    3. You are intimidated to approach people in the first place so there for you have nothing to track anyway.

    I could go on I'm sure but you are starting see the picture here right?

    You see, if you put together a tracking chart for the next two weeks, enough to finish out this month lets say, you can see where exactly your activity is and if in fact you're doing enough.

    So track your exposures from today until the end of the month.  Regardless of if you do any exposures that day or not write down your activity.

    I like to focus on activity much more than results to begin with. With out activity you get no results and so you must reward yourself and your team for the activity.

    Jim Rohn mentions as do many greats that you must track your numbers so that you learn your ratio. How many people do you have to talk to or expose in order to bring on board a new person? That's why you must track your business activity. Know your ratio and you have no issues with the people telling you no.

    You just realize you that you have 4 more no's to go before you get a yes once you understand your ratio.

    I'm not going to explain all of the details because you can get that kind of information lots of places.

    My point here today is of such that you are in a time and place right now where what you think is real, is not. Our little exercise early  was to challenge your beliefs. To challenge what you think is real up to this point and time in your life.

    Nothing we experience is by accident. Something as simple as tracking your business activities or lack there of is but a tool to allow your physical form to experience  what is happening here in this realm.

    It's your invisible form, your mind, that has the true power to interpret your lifes experiences up to this point and how you will wipe the slate clean and start to do things that you've never allowed yourself to do before.

    Like: approach & prospect people with confidence, coach your team based on your experiences good or bad and most importantly start to live outside of your minds boundaries that you've set as real.

    You are limitless, boundless and made from the greatest goo that ever could have been lol.
