I received a great email from one of my friends here in my local market who just started a sales training course. She's training to be the trainer!
Now I don't know about you, but never really doing a speaking or training gig and then going right into a sales trainer position is called "baptism by fire."
I love it!
Sales as it's called still these days, although I believe it should be called "getting people to buy 101," is still the corner stone of business and people skills. It's really the corner stone of life if you put thought to it.
People are selling ALL THE TIME.
I hear people tell me all the time, "Oh I could never do a home business, I'm just not a sales person." They tell me with total conviction too.
The fact is this, they are selling ME on the fact they aren't a sales person so guess what. That makes them a sales person! Sales is nothing more than a transference of believe.
Chances are they have a negative belief around selling. Rather than adding value they believe it's forcing someone to get something they don't want.
Let me give you an example of a conversation I have with someone who has these beliefs:
Tony: "Roger have you ever been to a good movie before?"
Roger: "Well sure."
Tony: "Roger did you really care if they went to go see the movie?"
Roger: "Well I don't reckon so if I really think about it."
Tony: "Right, you just had a good experience with the movie, it came up in idle chit chat and you happen to share the experience with them right?"
Tony: "Now Roger, when your friend went to go see the movie, did the movie theater send you a check?"
Roger: "Uh no."
Tony: "Well you will be doing the same thing with your new business. You already know you're having or going to have a good experience with xyz service/product so you might as well get a check when you you do."
I'll admit this is persuasion at it's best however I'm simply giving them a different model to frame their thoughts from.
Now keep in mind this is boarder line influencing someone. I don't want to convince them, just simply give them a different perspective on their "beliefs" there for inspiring them to take action that that they may not have taken before.
Framing things for people is key sometimes and that's where becoming a better communicator comes in real handy. Your ability to be an effective communicator is critical .
Side note* When someone has a burning desire for more out of life you won't even have to go down this road because they are looking for solutions not excuses. This is the most ideal prospect in network marketing.
Programming your beliefs is simply about what you put in your mind daily and letting go of some of the old beliefs that don't serve you anymore.
I've found a great free news letter that I believe will be critical in programming your mind with new beliefs on wealth.

I would encourage that you get on this news letter and drink in all that it shares with you. It's great information and they don't try and "sell" you anything. You simply buy the concepts and details and apply them to your life if you so choose.
